Jolene Farrow, Partnership Manager

What do you do in your role?

I have been with WLTH for almost 18 months recently moving into the broker space as a Partnership Manager. I originally started as our Credit Manager and then moved into our Credit Training and Development Manager role.

I now look after a portfolio of brokers where I get to utilise my credit knowledge to better assist them and their clients.

I am my brokers BDM & Credit Manager in one, I look after their scenarios/exceptions escalations and basically everything except assessing their files.
My brokers can book in training sessions with me on all things WLTH – call or email me to run any deals on their desks past me to see if they fit or if I can make them fit with WLTH.

What have you done before working for WLTH?

I have been in the home loan sector for over 16 years now – I have held many roles in banks as Branch Lender/Mobile Lender/Mobile Lender Referrer network, assisting 2 Regional Executives for lending where I learnt I loved the credit and policy side of lending. Lastly, I tried my hand as a broker which gave me an insight into broker life.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

Good question – I have 4 children, 2 puppies and fish tanks. So life is always busy in my household. We love spending our time outdoors together in the pool, shooting hoops, kicking the soccer ball around or playing table tennis. Theme parks are also a regular in our household. Personally, I love to cook, see a live theatre/comedy show and love a good game of eight ball or kelly pool.

What is something that people don’t know about you?

I am a qualified Kung Fu Instructor and toured the small regional towns of China for 2 weeks performing with the Plum Blossom Federation and our GrandMaster Doc Fai Wong. I opened my own Kung Fu School with a partner in 2011 and left the business in 2018.

What is your favourite food/drink?

Seafood – especially a good seafood pasta or mixed basket (mostly grilled not fried which is actually hard to find) with a glass of white wine.

Mandarin juice or an ice cold CC n Dry. I don’t eat or drink any of them often, but definitely my fav’s.

Where is your favourite place you have been to and why?

This is a tough one – I would have to say Yosemite National Park, the drive there was stunning and Yosemite was absolutely breathtaking. It was also heart stopping as two black bears walked across the path right in front of me.
